　　Fred: Hi, Janice. Our first weekend after being employed is coming. Show me your plan.

　　佛瑞德：嗨，賈尼斯。我們上班以來的第一個周末就要到了。告訴我你的計劃吧。

　　Janice: My mom phoned me this morning, and asked me to go back home to have housework chores.

　　賈尼斯：我媽媽今天上午打電話給我，說要我冋家做家務(wù)呢。

　　Fred: What are you assigned to do?

　　佛瑞德：你要做什么家務(wù)呢?

　　Janice: God knows. Speaking of chores, I would rather do some washing than cooking.

　　賈尼斯：誰知道啊?說到做家務(wù)，我寧愿洗衣服.而不愿去做飯。

　　Fred: For me, I think I will iron my shirt and trousers. Actually, weekends tend to be the most hectic day in the whole week.

　　佛瑞德：對于我而言，我想我還得熨燙我的襯衫和褲子。實際上，周末反而變成一周中最忙的.日子了。

　　Janice: I really hope that I could sleep like a log all through two nights. But… Some one said that weekends are a bit like rainbows; they look good from a distance but disappear before we get up close to them.

　　賈尼斯：我真希望自己在這兩天能_到自然醒。但是……有人說周末就像是一片彩虹。打遠一看，它們的確很是美麗，但是在我們靠近它之前.卻消失得無影無蹤。

　　Fred: I couldn't agree more.

　　佛瑞德：我同意。

　　Fred: David, do you think we are lucky to have the weekend?

　　佛瑞德：大衛(wèi)，我們能有周末休息實在是幸運，你覺得呢?

　　David: Definitely. I need to have enough time to have a rest on this weekend. We worked like bees in the whole working days.

　　大衛(wèi)：那是肯定的。我需要在這周末有足夠的時間睡覺。我們在這一周工作日里真是忙得不可開交。

　　Fred: I agree with you. What do you want to do, except sleeping?

　　佛瑞德：我同意你的說法。除睡覺之外，你還要做什么事情呢?

　　David: Let me think. Oh, awful! I still have not finished the chart which was assigned by Mr. Wharton on Friday. So that task will make my busy.

　　大衛(wèi)：讓我想想啊。哦.梢糕透頂了!我還沒完成周五阿頓分配紿我的那個圖表呢。所以這個任務(wù)還要我忙乎一陣子的。

　　Fred: I am better. I will go out to have a visit to my aunt. Why don't we have fun on weekend?

　　佛瑞德：我比你好點兒。我要拜訪我的阿姨呢。為何不在周末過得愉快點呢?

　　David: So what?

　　大衛(wèi)：那又怎樣?
