Arden: Fred, is it a good time to talk with you?
阿頓：佛瑞德，要跟你談個(gè)事兒，現(xiàn)在方便嗎?
Fred: Sure, what's the matter?
佛瑞德：當(dāng)然可以。有什么事呢?
Arden: As you know, I have accepted three new programs in our company this year, but I am not sure I can do my work well. And right now my dilemma is that I can not find a person whom I can trust for these three programs.
阿頓：正如你所知道的，我今年在公司里面承擔(dān)了三個(gè)項(xiàng)目，但是我不確定是否可以把這項(xiàng)工作做好。而現(xiàn)在我的難處就在于我還沒(méi)能找到可以讓我相信的人去完成這項(xiàng)工作。
Fred: What do you think we can do about this?
佛瑞德：您認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)當(dāng)怎么做呢?
Arden: We are not willing to miss the chance; however, our staff is not big enough now. So, to be honest, I want you to help me to finish all these programs.
阿頓：我們可不想錯(cuò)過(guò)這樣的時(shí)機(jī)，但是我們的'人員實(shí)在緊缺。所以呢，說(shuō)老實(shí)話,我想讓你幫助我完成這些項(xiàng)目。
Fred: Well, sir, I am busy in market development. So I am worried whether I can do this.
佛瑞德：先生，我正忙于市場(chǎng)開發(fā)呢。所以我擔(dān)心是否能做好這件事。
Arden: I am aware you have been working so hard. Before hiring more employees, you are still needed to do this.
阿頓：我意識(shí)到你一直工作很努力的。在雇傭到更多員工之前，我們?nèi)匀宦Z要你的幫助。
Fred: OK! I will try this.
佛瑞德：好吧!我試一試。

Nova: Steven, have a rest. Could you have a talk with me?
諾娃：斯蒂文.休息一下。我能跟你商量個(gè)事嗎?
Steven: OK! What can I do for you, Madam?
斯蒂文：好的!我能為您做點(diǎn)什么呢，夫人?
Nova: Janice has just got sick and I need a hand now. Could you come here earlier tomorrow morning?
諾娃：賈尼斯病了，我這里正好需要人幫忙。你能明天早上早點(diǎn)來(lái)嗎?
Steven: When do you want me to come?
斯蒂文：您想讓我什么時(shí)候來(lái)公司呢?
Nova: Let me think. About half past seven if it is okay for you.
諾娃：讓我想想。大概7:30左右吧，合適嗎?
Steven: That's fine. I can make it.
斯蒂文：可以。我能做到。
