　　Sarah：

　　So, have you seen all three The Lord of the Rings movies?

　　哎,指環(huán)王三部曲你看過嗎?

　　Ben：

　　Yes, but I didn’t really like the third one at all.

　　都看過,不過我一點(diǎn)兒也不喜歡第三部.

　　Sarah：

　　That’s the Return of the King, right?

　　是國王歸來,對嗎?

　　Ben：

　　Yeah. Even though the customs were brilliant, I didn’t think it was as good as the first two. What did you think?

　　對.盡管服裝做得很精致,但我還是覺得不如前兩部拍的好.你覺得呢?

　　Sarah：

　　I thought the special effects were amazing, but I got a bit confused. The plot was too complicated for me.

　　我覺得特技做得棒極了,不過我有點(diǎn)兒沒看明白.情節(jié)對我來說太復(fù)雜了.

　　Ben：

　　Did you read the books before you watched the movies?

　　你看電影之前讀過原著嗎?

　　Sarah：

　　No. did you?

　　沒有.你看過嗎?

　　Ben：

　　Yes, I’ve read them many times. I think it’s much easier to follow for people who were already familiar with all the characters.

　　看過,而且看過很多遍.我覺得對書中的人物角色熟悉了之后,再去理解電影里的人物就能容易得多.

　　Sarah：

　　Yes, trying to keep track of all the characters was quite confusing for me.

　　是啊, 我總想把復(fù)雜的.人物關(guān)系理清楚,結(jié)果越弄越糊涂.

　　Ben：

　　I also think that it was much better in the theatre than at home.

　　而且我還覺得,去電影院比在家的觀影效果要好得多.

　　Sarah：

　　Most movies are. Another problem for me was the film was dubbed in German with English subtitles.

　　大多數(shù)片子是這樣的.還有個問題,就是這部電影是德語配音,英文字幕.

　　Ben：

　　That happens a lot in non-English speaking countries.

　　這種情況在非英語國家很常見.

　　Sarah：

　　I heard that The Return of the King was nominated for 11 Oscars.

　　我聽說國王歸來獲得了11項(xiàng)奧斯卡提名.

　　Ben：

　　Actually, they not only had 11 nominations, but they won 11 Oscars, too!

　　其實(shí)不僅僅是榮獲11項(xiàng)提名,它還獲得了11項(xiàng)奧斯卡獎!
