　　Nancy：

　　Yes, I’m also pround of being the mother of two girls.

　　We all admire your career success. You must be pround of yourself for achieving so much at work.

　　I didn't know you are a mother of two. How do you strike a balance between work and family?

　　我不知道你有2個(gè)女兒.你是怎樣平衡工作和家庭的.?

　　Nancy：

　　Well, my husband shares a lot of the housework and childcare responsibilities so I can focus more on my career.

　　我的丈夫幫我分擔(dān)了很多家務(wù),幫我照顧孩子,這樣我就可以有更多的時(shí)間放在工作上.

　　Sam：

　　That’s good. Do you find enough time to be with the kids?

　　挺好的.你有足夠的時(shí)間陪孩子嗎?

　　Nancy：

　　Not really, sometimes my kids complain about my being around so little. So no matter how busy I am everyday, I will set aside some time to be with them.

　　沒有,有時(shí)候我的孩子也會抱怨我陪她們的時(shí)間太少了.所以不管我每天有多忙,我都會抽出時(shí)間來好她們呆一會.

　　Sam：

　　Do they understand your situation?

　　那她們理解你的難處嗎?

　　Nancy：

　　Yes, they all show much understanding of my work. If I happen to be too busy to help them with their homework one day or anotherm they’ll ask my husband instead.

　　理解, 她們都對我的工作表示理解.如果哪天我很忙沒空幫她們輔導(dǎo)作業(yè),她們會找我丈夫幫忙.

　　Sam：

　　Oh, it’s incredible that you can still help the kids with their studies after a whole day’s stressful work.

　　勞累了一天,你竟然還能幫孩子做作業(yè),太不可思議了.

　　Nancy：

　　Yeah, I’m tired after work. But when I see the kids’ shining smile, all the pressure and trouble at work goes away.

　　是啊,下班之后我挺累的,但是一看到孩子燦爛的笑容,工作上的壓力和煩惱就都不見了.
