A: That#39;s a classy car!

那臺車真棒！

B: Yeah, it belongs to the president.

是啊，那臺車是總載的。

這個句型可以用來詢問人的狀況，通常是你發(fā)現(xiàn)對方有啥不對勁的時候。

A: What#39;s up with him?

他是怎么回事？

B: He and his girlfriend just split up.

他跟女朋友剛分手。

你也可以用這個句型來問事物。

A: What#39;s up with the new air conditioner?

這臺新冷氣機是怎么回事？

B: The other one broke, so I went and bought this one.

另一臺壞掉了，所以我去買了這臺新的。

1) Way to go. “有一套。”這句短語是用來稱贊他人的表現(xiàn)。

2) You can say that again. 我再同意不過了。這句話是用來表達(dá)對他人說的話心有戚戚焉。

3) be in awe of... 對……心存敬畏
