　　Elvin: Right. You're right. But she's just 1) evil. Someone should 2) drive a stake through her heart.

　　Vince: Elvin, please. Can I count on you to 3) keep your cool for a week, or not?

　　文斯： 艾文，別這樣。你給我冷靜一個(gè)星期，我能信得過你嗎？

　　Elvin: I'm OK. I'll be fine. I'v cool. I'm cold. I'm like ice. She won't know what hit her.

　　艾文： 我可以。我會(huì)沒事的。我很冷靜。我冷若冰霜。她不會(huì)知道是被誰暗算的。

　　Vince: By the way, how's the nose? Boy, that must have hurt.

　　文斯： 對(duì)了，鼻子還好嗎？要命，那一定痛死了。

　　語言詳解:

　　A: What did you see in Paris?

　　你在巴黎看到什么？

　　B: All the main tourist spots.

　　所有主要的觀光景點(diǎn)。

　　【用hit表示“猝不及防”】

　　有些事情來得突然，讓人在毫無準(zhǔn)備的狀況下，除了傻眼還是傻眼。此時(shí)你就可以活用這個(gè)

　　hit 字，來表達(dá)事出突然，讓人猝不及防的感覺�？赡苁菬o預(yù)警的天災(zāi)。

　　A: The storm hit before Rick could do anything about it.

　　暴風(fēng)雨來時(shí)，瑞克根本措手不及。

　　B: Yeah, he didn't know what hit him. He was probably killed instantly.

　　對(duì)啊，他不知道被什么襲擊。他八成是當(dāng)場(chǎng)斃命。

　　也可能是人禍，遭人暗算。

　　A: When she left with all his money, Dirk just *sat around month after month.

　　她帶著他所有的錢離開，迪克就這樣月復(fù)一月地呆坐。

　　B: It's understandable. It all happened so fast. He didn't know what hit him.

　　可以理解。這發(fā)生得很突然。他根本不知道是怎么回事。

　　*sit around 坐著發(fā)呆，無所事事

　　1) evil (a.) 邪惡的

　　2) drive在此指“釘木樁”的動(dòng)作，stake 就是“木樁”。drive a stake through one's heart“木樁穿心”原來是對(duì)付“吸血鬼”vampire 的必殺技，在此是因 Elvin 覺得Zina 太過邪惡才這樣比喻。

　　3) keep one's cool 保持鎮(zhèn)定、冷靜
